Quick answers about accounts, credits, printing, and how CarColor works. Still stuck? Email support@carcolor.me.
What is CarColor?
CarColor turns a short car description into a printable black-and-white line-art coloring page. Describe a model, add optional extras (like plate text or accessories), then download or print.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Sign in with Google, or with email and password. Email accounts get a quick verification link before full sign-in. Signed-in accounts keep a private history of past pages.
I signed in with Google. Can I also use a password?
Yes. Open Profile from the header, then set a password. You can keep using Google sign-in, or sign in with your email and that password.
Can I change my email address?
Yes, if you sign in with email and password. Open Profile, enter your new email and current password, then confirm the verification link we send to the new address. Google-only accounts keep the email from your Google account.
Is CarColor free?
New accounts get 1 free image and 1 free edit. After that you buy credits. The price shown at checkout is what you pay.
How much do images and edits cost?
After the free allowance, image credits are currently USD $2.99 each. Each paid image includes 5 edits. Extra edits are sold in packs of 10 for currently USD $0.99.
Payments are processed by Paddle. See our Terms of Service and Refund Policy for details. Summary also on the homepage Pricing section.
Why do I see a security check when I sign up?
Email sign-up uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated account creation. It is a quick check in the form, not a separate app. Google sign-in uses Google's own protections instead.
Are there usage limits?
Yes. CarColor applies rate limits on sign-in, sign-up, verification emails, image generation, edits, and credit-code redemption to keep the service fair and stable. If you hit a limit, wait a little while and try again.
Can I redeem a free credit code?
Yes, if you have a code from us. Sign in, open Buy from the header (or your account page), enter the code, and redeem. Each code can usually be used once per account. Image codes include the same edit extras as a paid image credit. Codes may expire or run out of redemptions.
How do I create a coloring page?
Go to Create a page, describe the car, pick an angle and options, then generate. Preview on screen, download a PNG, or print. Pages are sized for A4 landscape.
Can I edit a page after generating?
Yes. Use a short text instruction to tweak the drawing (for example, change plate text or simplify a feature). Edits use your free edit or paid edit credits. Results can vary, preview before you print.
How are the images made?
Outputs are machine-made line art, not photographs or hand-drawn originals. Details, badges, and exact model accuracy can vary. Images are for illustration purposes only and may differ from the actual product. Full rules are in our Image Terms.
Can I use pages commercially?
Personal, non-commercial use is fine, coloring at home or in a classroom, for example. Selling outputs, bundling them as a stock pack, or using them as a competing coloring-page product needs our prior written permission. See the Image Terms.
Where are my past pages?
After you sign in and generate, your images appear in your private history on the create page. You can reopen, download, print, or edit them later. Deleting your account removes associated images as described in the Privacy Policy.
How do refunds work?
Credits are digital goods delivered after payment. We typically refund or re-credit for duplicate charges, failed credit delivery, or verified technical failures on our side, not solely because you disliked a particular result. Full policy: Refund Policy.
Who do I contact for help?
