Refund Policy
Last updated: 14 August 2026
This Refund Policy explains when CarColor may refund purchases of image and edit credits. Purchases are processed by Paddle as merchant of record.
1. What you buy
After your free allowance, you buy digital image credits used to generate coloring pages, and optional edit-credit packs. Credits are applied to your account when payment succeeds. The price shown at checkout (currently USD $2.99 per image, including five edits, or USD $0.99 for ten extra edits) is what you pay for that purchase.
2. Digital goods
Image credits and generated images are digital content delivered immediately. Where consumer law allows, once credits are delivered or a generation starts using a paid credit, the purchase is generally non-refundable. If you have a mandatory cooling-off right in your region that still applies, we will honor it when you contact us promptly and before substantial use of the credits.
3. When we refund
We typically refund or re-credit when:
- You were charged but credits were not added to your account after a reasonable time.
- There was a clear duplicate charge for the same purchase.
- A verified technical failure on our side prevented you from receiving or using purchased credits.
We generally do not refund because you disliked a particular result, chose the wrong options, or no longer want unused credits after they were successfully delivered, except where required by law.
4. How to request a refund
Email support@carcolor.me from the email on your account. Include:
- Account email
- Approximate purchase date and amount
- Paddle / receipt reference if you have it
- A short description of the problem
We aim to respond within a few business days. Approved refunds are issued through Paddle to the original payment method; timing depends on Paddle and your bank or card issuer.
5. Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank so we can help. Unexplained chargebacks may lead to account suspension while we investigate.
6. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. The policy in effect at the time of purchase applies to that purchase, except where law requires otherwise.
