Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CarColor at carcolor.me (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

CarColor lets you describe a vehicle and generate printable black-and-white line-art coloring pages, optionally edit them with text instructions, download or print results, and keep a history of your images. Features may change as we improve the product.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate account information.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
  • Email/password accounts must verify email before full sign-in. Google accounts follow Google's sign-in flow.
  • You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (and at least 13, or the higher digital-consent age where you live).

3. Credits and payments

New accounts receive a limited free allowance (currently one generate and one edit). Additional images require paid image credits (currently USD $2.99 per image, including five edits). Extra edits are sold in packs (currently USD $0.99 for ten edits). The price shown in the product applies at checkout.

Payments are processed by Paddle as merchant of record. By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle's applicable terms. Credits are added after successful payment confirmation. See our Refund Policy for refunds.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes, or to harass others.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape at scale, bypass rate limits, credits, or security controls.
  • Use prompts that are not about creating or editing a vehicle coloring page.
  • Upload or prompt content you do not have rights to use, or that infringes others' rights.
  • Misrepresent generated images as photographs or as human-drawn originals when that would be misleading in context.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users' access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the Service or others.

5. Generated content

Images are produced by automated systems. Results may be imperfect, inconsistent, or unsuitable for a given purpose. We do not guarantee that any specific car, logo, or trademark will appear accurately. You are responsible for how you use, share, or print the outputs. Detailed rules for generation are in the Image Terms & Conditions. Clicking Generate coloring page means you agree to those Image Terms.

6. Your content and license

You retain rights in the prompts and instructions you submit. You grant CarColor a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that content and the resulting images as needed to provide the Service (including generation via our providers and storage in your history).

Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may download and print your generated pages for personal, non-commercial use (for example, coloring at home or in a classroom). Commercial redistribution of the Service's outputs as a competing product or stock pack requires our prior written permission.

7. Intellectual property

The CarColor name, branding, site design, and software are ours or our licensors'. These Terms do not transfer ownership of that IP to you. Third-party marks that appear in generated art (for example, vehicle badges) remain with their owners; generation does not grant you trademark rights.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that outputs will meet your expectations.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CARCOLOR AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR IMAGE CREDITS IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR USD $50 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including licenses already granted for operating history, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive termination.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
